What NestMove collects, and why.
What the app collects
The app uses Tenjin, a measurement service, to tell us which of our ads and links bring people to NestMove. When you open the app, it sends Tenjin:
- Device and app details: device model, iOS version, app version, language, country, time zone and IP address.
- Apple's identifier for vendor, an ID that only our apps share on your device.
- If you came from an Apple Ads ad, Apple's attribution token for that ad.
- A few app events: when your plan is created, when your free week starts, when the NestMove Plus screen is opened, and when NestMove Plus is bought (the price, currency and Apple's transaction record).
- Apple's SKAdNetwork values, which tell ad networks in aggregate how far people got after installing.
We use this only to measure our own advertising. We do not sell it, and we do not combine it with data from other companies to target ads at you. Tenjin processes it for us under its own privacy policy.
Nothing about your move is ever sent: not your dates, states, addresses, tasks or lists.

What is saved on your device
The information you enter while using NestMove is saved locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database, and is included in your device backups if you have those enabled. This includes:
Deleting the app removes this information from your device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, NestMove schedules its reminders, including the countdown to moving day, locally on your device. No push server is involved and nothing about your plan is sent anywhere.
Purchases
NestMove Plus is a one-time purchase, and the free week is a free in-app item. Both are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple tells the app whether the free week or purchase is active, and these are reported to Tenjin as described above. Apple's handling of transactions is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Links to other websites
Some tasks link to official Australian services — for example a state road authority, Australia Post, Medicare or the Australian Electoral Commission. Opening one of these links takes you to that organisation's own website, which has its own privacy policy. We are not affiliated with, and do not share any information with, those organisations.
This website
nestmove.com.au — the site you are reading now — is separate from the app, and it does use one analytics service.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies in your browser and collects standard usage information: the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address — Google does not store the full address). We use this only to see which guides are useful. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not link it to anything that could identify you. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection details such as your IP address for the moment it takes to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of that data is covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
If you write to us, we keep your email so we can reply. We don't add you to any list.
Children
NestMove is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If we add or change a service the app or this website uses, we will update this page before that version is released.
